A New Generation of Equity Work

The most effective professional development activities strategies and processed that I have developed over the past 40 years.
At this stage in my career, I am most excited about the Equity Leadership Institutes I have been offering throughout the United States. These Institutes give me an opportunity to share a lifetime of work with other committed social justice advocates. In my Equity Leadership Manual I have compiled the most effective professional development activities, strategies, and processes that I have developed and used over the past 40 years. The Institutes support school districts and universities in their systemic change efforts by building the internal capacity of their own people to deliver high quality professional development for cultural competence and cultural responsive practice.
Gary offers 4-day Equity Leadership Institutes in several locations around the US each year. Some of these Institutes are commissioned by individual school districts, independent schools, colleges, or universities, and are not open to outside registration. Others are Regional Institutes sponsored by local educational organizations, and feature open enrollment.
